Tomorrow’s Grand Finalists have been decided as the 2020 National Cricket Inclusion Championships draws to a close.
Blind and Low Vision - 8:00am, McDonald Reserve
In the Blind division, led by Lindsay Heaven, New South Wales will be looking to make it three wins in a row, following successful campaigns in 2018 and 2019.
Their challengers, South Australia will be looking to knock off the reigning champions, led by Skipper Stephen Palmer.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing – 10:30am, McDonald Reserve
Just like their counterparts in the Blind division, South Australia’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing side will be looking to claim their third consecutive NCIC title, following a successful finals campaign led by all-rounder Luke Smith.
Following an explosive innings from #3 Austin Philip, New South Wales will be looking to upset the dominant South Australian side that boasts three international representatives.
Intellectual Disability – 3:00pm, McDonald Reserve
For a second year in a row, Victoria and South Australia will meet in the Grand Final of the Intellectual Disability division.
Following Victoria’s upset of the South Australian’s last year, South Australia’s star studded bowling line-up will be looking to rip through Victoria’s top order early, with the wickets of Australian batsmen Gavan Hicks and Jamie Phillips looking to be the big scalps.
All Grand Final matches will be live streamed on the Cricket Australia Facebook page and YouTube account.
